Japanese Kanji Tattoo

According to the Pew Research Center, a link to which I found on Vanishing Tattoo,  If you are between 18-25 years old, the percentage of having at least one tattoo is 36%.  So tattoos,  especially among the young generation have gone mainstream.

I just am curious how many are getting Japanese tattoo art or Japanese Tattoos

Japanese tattoo symbols

In my blog,  I talk about Japanese tattoo symbols and designs. I will cover the meaning and some history as well.

Japanese tattoos are very old and carry significant meaning.  Many westerners that wear tattoos with Japanese Kanji, don’t understand the meaning behind the symbol. In the worst case you can look foolish wearing the wrong Japanese symbol on your body.

Be careful with selecting your translator. You want to ensure that she has experience and a strong command of English so your English word translated into a Japanese symbol projects the image exactly as you desire.

In my next blog post, I’ll talk about how Kanji tattoos can have several meanings.
